Fruit Map is a collaborative app that helps users discover and map fruit trees and edible plants. This page explains how we handle your information when you use the app.
When you create an account or use Fruit Map, we may collect basic account information such as your name and email address. We may also store the fruit tree markers and related information that you choose to add to the map.
We use your information to provide and improve the app, allow you to manage your account, and support collaborative features such as adding and viewing fruit tree markers.
Fruit Map is built around community contributions. Markers added by users may be visible to other users so the community can discover fruit trees and edible plants nearby.
We do not sell your personal information. Some third-party services may be used to operate the app, provide hosting, analytics, authentication, maps, or app store services.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
You can delete your Fruit Map account directly inside the app.
After you confirm account deletion, your personal account data, such as your email address and name, will be deleted.
Because Fruit Map is a collaborative map, markers you previously added will not be deleted from the public map. Instead, they will be made anonymous. If you create a new account later, you will not be able to claim those anonymous markers again.
If you have questions or concerns about privacy or account deletion, please contact us through our contact page.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
